A personal note: On uncertainty — and what if not knowing is the point?
Worth knowing: Chiron's big move into Taurus, an open letter to Sam Altman about AI's shadow, Danielle LaPorte on holding space, and why hope is a practice.
Plus: Paige Appel's Circle Facilitator Training, an invitation to join me live June 18, and Richard Rohr on getting the "Who am I?" question right.

What if not knowing is the point?
Lately, life keeps reminding me how little certainty we actually get. So many beginnings and endings, many of them on a schedule we don’t get to choose.
My personality and who I am loves to know. I want answers and a plan. Many in my community say the same thing. That’s why so many of us talk to psychic mediums and intuitives and astrologers and tarot card readers, to name a few. Sometimes we just want an answer, something to hold on to. (Not to mention, it’s fun.)
I know you know what I mean. We spend so much energy trying to figure out what's next, how things might turn out, and whether or not we're on the right path. But The Freedom Transmissions offers a different frame on the topic of uncertainty: if everything in our life was perfectly clear, if we knew every outcome in advance, life would be utterly boring. More than that — if we had the cheat sheet to all our soul contracts, we'd never learn or evolve. We'd have no free will. Just a script to follow.
What’s the fun in that?
The Divine will never take free will from us, because to make everything clear would be a disservice to our growing consciousness.
Uncertainty comes with the territory. It's one of the perfectly designed qualities of life, not the flaw of life – if we choose to see it that way.
So when something feels like it’s ending or unraveling — like a relationship, a job, an identity, or a plan — and you're standing in that empty space with no idea what's next (the void, baby!), every instinct might scream for us to fill it, fix it, or get out of it.
The teaching in TFT says don't.
It tells us: you're not lost in the void, you’re being moved into something new. Change can feel uncomfortable — that empty space is unfamiliar, sometimes downright scary. But it’s also where the next version of you and me and all of us is being made. There are infinite possibilities in the unknown.
I'll have more to share soon(ish) about going deeper into this work together. For now, one thing to think about this week: What would it mean to trust your soul's wisdom more than your mind's need for certainty?
xo, Laurie

🌈 Where unshakable joy really comes from, according to the Stoics.

I've been in Paige Appel's circles, and I can tell you firsthand — she has a way of holding the energy that feels like grace. They are grounded, present, and unhurried. There's an acceptance in how she leads that makes you feel genuinely welcomed.
If you've ever felt called to facilitate circles of your own, Paige has a Circle Facilitator Training starting June 16th on Zoom. As Paige says, this training is for the woman who wants to learn the craft of attuned listening, conscious structure, and the quiet inner authority that makes real transformation possible. Not just in circle, but in every relational field she moves through.

Riverbank Community Call
Paige invited me to talk to her Riverbank community on the topic of authenticity next Thursday, June 18 at 10 am CST. This is deeply rooted in the work I do with The Freedom Transmissions. It all starts within. Our road to living a more truthful life starts with building a strong inner foundation. That is what authenticity (read: freedom) is really about. It’s not about doing whatever you want, it’s about being who you are. If you’d like to join us, I have two free spots to giveaway for the call. Or you can join Paige’s monthly membership for $15. Reach out for the code👇🏻 or for one of the free spots. I would love to see someone from the HTLC community join the call!

Every morning, financial news follows the same script. Headlines panic, coverage catastrophises, and somewhere inside the noise is the story that actually matters — the one that tells you where the opportunity sits, not just where the fear is pointing.
Most sources have stopped looking. The alarm is easier to sell.
The Daily Upside was created by Wall Street insiders for readers who crave real insight over recycled anxiety. Five minutes of global business and finance, before the noise sets the agenda — just the facts, context, and analysis your decisions need.
Join 1M readers — including managing directors and principals at some of Wall Street’s largest institutions — who trust The Daily Upside to filter through the chaos.
The upsides are always there. We’ll find them before breakfast.
