July 29th is being called the luckiest day of the year – a day of abundance and good fortune.
I wanted to find out why people have been popping off about this and have it make sense to me, so I did a little deep dive into it. Turns out it's a big one: the planet Jupiter is aligning with the heart of the sun (this is called a cazimi) while in the sign of Leo — a pairing that only happens once every twelve years — and we're getting a full moon in Aquarius on top of it. Translation: it's a day built for expansion, and a night built for shining a light on whatever's been sitting in the shadows.
Jupiter is the planet of luck and growth. Leo is the sign of courage and authentic self-expression. When Jupiter “sits” in the heart of the sun like this, it gets amplified on this day. But then, this isn't just a one-day thing, Jupiter will be in Leo for the whole year ahead. And because Leo's opposite sign is Aquarius, the sign of the collective, this full moon has a "your light isn't just for you" quality to it. What you build doesn't stay contained to you alone.
I dug into what this moment actually means and am sharing two things you can do today to work with it. The big question is: what will make you feel proud or excited one year from now because you started something today? It’s seed planting time… Oh, and why not go buy that lottery ticket and a few scratch offs? Have fun with this!
