What do you believe before you have proof?

Most of us wait for evidence before we let ourselves believe something is possible. We want the proof first, and then we’ll have faith.

But reading about the World Cup semi-final the other day between England and Argentina, I saw an example of some serious belief and manifesting. Lautaro Martínez came off the bench and scored the winning goal for Argentina in the final minute — and afterward he shared with reporters that he'd told a teammate beforehand that he was going to do exactly that. He dreamed it before it happened. He “saw” it.

Did he have any proof? No — but he had unwavering belief and fearless faith.

I've watched this play out in my own life too — from finding my husband to selling our family home. Major belief came into play.

Maybe that's the real question this week: not "how do I know this will work," but "am I willing to have unwavering belief in this?"

WORTH KNOWING

📝 Energy intuitive and channeler Lee Harris says that gratitude is an act of presence. He suggest writing 5-10 things that you are grateful for every day, either in the morning or before bed. Don’t we keep hearing how gratitude is the key to everything? This cute journal would be honored to hold your words of appreciation!

🖌️ The Artist’s Way author (and queen of the Morning Pages) Julia Cameron on how she believes that a creative practice is our gift back to the Great Creator. Where in your life are you bringing your creativity into play?

🎧 Kara Swisher, in her Hacking Longevity series, explores the relationship among sound, consciousness, and a healthy mind with Dr. AZA Allsop, an artist and psychiatrist whose Yale lab studies how music and sound shape mental well-being and human connection.

🚲 Dutch kids are consistently ranked the happiest children in the world. Here’s why.
